26 October 2020

Multiple jumping talents sold through the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in the past, continue to achieved good results. For example, the Zirocco Blue VDL mare Glamour Girl and the Vittorio mare Iberlina turned out to be winners at the international competitions in Saint Lô and Opglabbeek last weekend.

Since this summer, the 9yo Glamour Girl (Zirocco Blue VDL x Caletto I), previously successful under Richard Howley, has teamed up with top rider Henrik von Eckermann. In August they already won the two-phase 1.45m class at CSI5* Saint Tropez, and last weekend they proved unbeatable in the Table A 1.45m at CSI4* Saint Lô. In the jump-off they faced competition from no less than 16 other combinations. In 2016 Glamour Girl, bred by Stoeterij Gaesbeek, was sold in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales.

At CSI2* in the Sentower Park in Opglabbeek, Lisa Candin achieved a victory in the young horses class with the Vittorio mare Iberlina (ds.N-Aldato, breeder Jean Dresen). This mare was auctioned last year and she won the two-phase special class (1.30/1.35m) on Thursday.
