CSI Eindhoven: Poels and DSHS-horse Apart win GP Qualifier

18 May 2015

Many sport horses that were sold at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales were in the spotlight last week. We start in The Netherlands, in the city of Eindhoven. The show CSI Eindhoven took place from the 14th until the 17th of May. One of the contestants was the Dutch rider Caroline Poels. She brought the chestnut gelding Apart (Larino x Burggraaf). The duo won the Rabobank Prix, a 1m50 class that was also a qualifier for the Grand Prix on Sunday. Poels and Apart managed to be placed third in the VDL Groep Grand Prix Eindhoven. A great achievement.

The American rider Emma Heise won the Grand Prix in Windsor (UK) with Viper Vrombautshoeve Z (Verdi x Karioka del Follee). Viper Vrombautshoeve Z was born in 2007 and sold at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in Weert in 2013. The combination wins once again.

Harley VDL-offspring Constable II (Harley VDL x Lupicor) does incredibly well under the American rider Laura Kraut. Constable II was sold in Weert in 2012 and ends up high in many lists of results. Last Friday, the duo was fourth in the 1m50 class in Windsor. They became third in a 1m45 class on Saturday.
