Apart and Chica B Z win top classes in Stuttgart

17 November 2019

Three horses sold in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales have performed very well at CSI5*-W Stuttgart. In the 1.65m World Cup competition, Pieter Devos showed to be unbeatable with Apart for the second year in a row, and Scott Brash jumped with the constantly performing Hello Senator to the third prize. On Friday evening, Chica B Z already provided excellent advertising for the DSHS by winning the 1.55m class with Martin Fuchs.

With the glorious victory in the Stuttgart World Cup competition, Pieter Devos was able to repeat his outstanding performance of last year. Just like in 2018, he won this top class aboard the Larino son Apart, who was bred by Stal Hendrix. The remarkable gelding was sold as a four-year-old in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales. Eleven combinations made it to the jump-off and the best four delivered another clear round. Pieter Devos showed to be unbeatable and won a car worth of 80,000 euro. Scott Brash also succeeded with the Carambole son Hello Senator, previously known as Everest. With this ten-year-old gelding, bred by the Henstra family, Brash finished in the third place.

On Friday evening Martin Fuchs jumped with the Canturano mare Chica B Z, bred by the Berben family, to the victory in the 1.55m speed class. The ten-years-old mare was named DSHS Horse of the Year in 2018 and has already achieved many good results.
