Ronan McGuigan and Capall Zidane achieve American victory

The show HITS on the Hudson II* was held from May 28th until June 1st in the American city of Culpeper – Virginia. It turned out to be a very successful show for the Irish rider Ronan McGuigan. He won the 1.40m-class ‘Brook Ledge Open Welcome’ with his horse Capall Zidane. He bought the Concorde-son at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2009.

This was not all, however. Ronan McGuigan also became third in the 1.40m-class ‘Open Jumper Prix’. He achieved this performance with the Indoctro-son Chapeau. This horse is owned by Blythe Masters and was also bought via the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2012. The American rider Jeffrey Welles was unbeatable and became first and second in this class.
