Mechelen: Poels and Apart win Queens Cup and became 3rd in CSI2* GP

30 December 2015

Caroline Poels won the Queens Cup (1.45m) in a wonderful atmosphere in the Nekkerhal in Mechelen during the Vlaanders Christmas jumping yesterday. Only women could take part in this competition; in total 35 ladies participated in this course. Poels finished first with her Stal Hendrix bred jumping horse Apart (Larino x Burggraaf).

The 10-year-old chestnut is sold via the Dutch Sport Horse Sale in 2009. The duo had a successful week in the Belgium Mechelen. They became eight during the CSI2* 1.40m provided by Dehertoghe the day before.

As icing on the cake Caroline and Apart finished 3rd in the CSI2* GP on Tuesday. A very successful weekend for Poels and Apart!
