Hello Senator runner-up in Rolex GP Geneva

15 December 2019

Today, the ten-year-old Hello Senator showed to be among the best horses in the world. Under Scott Brash, the Carambole son which was auctioned at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2013, jumped with two striking clear rounds to the second place in the Rolex Grand Prix of CSI5* Geneva.

The Dutch warmblood Hello Senator (ex Everest, Carambole x Indoctro, bred by the Henstra family from Drogeham) builds up an impressive record under Scott Brash. Under Luc Steeghs, he won the bronze medal at the WC for seven-year-old showjumper in Lanaken, and since the spring of 2017 he is part of the string of horses of Scott Brash. The top rider carefully built Hello Senator up to the highest level and is now reaping the benefits. In October this year the pair already won two 1.45m tests and the 1.55m Grand Prix of CSI4* Saint Tropez and today they proved their worth at the five-star competition in Geneva. Eleven combinations qualified for the jump-off and Scott Brash repeated that result with the gelding of Lady P Harris and Lady P Kirkham in the second fastest time. Only Martin Fuchs with Clooney were unbeatable.
