Cescha M, Constable II and Private Life in laps of honour

15 May 2017

At the international shows in Lexington and Kentucky three horses which have been sold in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales were winning prizes last weekend: Constable II (s.Harley VDL), Cescha M (s.Diamant de Semilly) and Private Life (s.Verdi).

Two DSHS-horses were competing at the Kentucky Spring Horse Show in Lexington last weekend. The Diamant de Semilly-mare Cescha M was placed in the Hagyard Classic, ridden by Isabelle Lapierre. This mare jumped to the 8th prize in the 1.45m class, which is the first of a series of seven at the Kentucky Horse Park this summer. On the same show rider Scott Stewart was able to secure the Grand Hunter Championship with Private Life (ex. Gibraltar P). This 6yo gelding by Verdi was sold in the DSHS of 2015 and was first in both rounds during day one with scores of 88 and 90. Stewart is now planning to show later this month at the prestigious Devon Horse Show.

Constable II placed in 1.50m
American top rider Laura Kraut went to Windsor last weekend. She competed at the Royal Windsor Horse Show with the Harley VDL-son Constable II, one of the highlights of the DSHS 2012-edition. In the Bahrain Pearl Stakes (1.45m) they were the fastest combination in the jump-off with one down and they ended up on the 6th place. Laura won a 1.45m class on this CSI5* together with her new mount Whitney (s.Indoctro). This mare was sold by Stal Hendrix and had a lot of success with Ramiro Quintana.
