Brennero’s first victory in the USA

The horse Brennero  (Ustinov x Amulet x Alme Crack Z,) which was sold during the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2012, wins the first prize in the 7-year-old class during the prestigious 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival. THE WEF is a CSI3* show and takes place at the Spy Coast Farm in Wellington – Florida.
The auction for young talented jumpers; the Dutch Sport Horse Sales was held only 4,5 months ago and yet the first foreign victory is a fact. American horsemen David Hopper bought the bay gelding Brennero in October 2012 and then changed his name. The Ustinov-offspring is now called Backstory.

Backstory is being ridden by American rider Jennifer Rossire. Rossire sadled her talented youngster to compete at the jumping class for 7-year-old showjumpers. The combination showed a very well performed ride and was clear in the first round with the second best time. But Rossire turn out to be unbeatable in the jump-off with a time of 36.1 seconds. With that time she was over 5 seconds faster than the number two.
