The 1.40m class during Jumping International Crans Montana in Switserland was a very exciting one. American rider Aimee Aron won the jump-off in 37.32 seconds with Bailey VI (by Verdi). The Italian rider Lorenzo de Luca was placed second with his horse Enigma (by Escudo) in a time of 37.72 seconds.
That they put down a fast times shows by the fact that the number three was more than a second slower as the number two. Only 15 out of 34 combination managed to stay clear in the first round. In the jump-off, only 9 combinations managed to stay clear.
The Verdi-daughter Bailey VI was sold in 2011 via the Dutch Sport Horse Sales. She was successful under Scottish rider Scott Brash.
