Anthony Condon and Zira II win British Young Horse Championships Addington

Zira II (s.Zürich x Quickfeuer van Koekshof), owned by Lisa Hales, won the British Young Horse Championships for five-year-olds at the Addington Equestrian Centre this weekend. The Young Horse Championships in Addington is one of the biggest Championships for Young jumper horses in the UK.

Her rider Anthony Condon about the Zürich-daughter: “She did a wonderful job even though this is her first big competition.” The championship is divided into three rounds. After the first two rounds Zira II and 16 other Non-British breeds were selected for the finals, which she won.

Zira II was sold during the Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2013. She was bought when she was one of the finalists in the Hendrix Competition. She stood out because of her great attitude and good way of jumping.

Zira II and Anthony Condon will compete in the Showjumping Scope Festival next week.
