The Ustinov-daughter Esperance stands out due to her light-footedness, superb reflexes and excellent riding qualities, which is characteristic of the Dutch Sport Horse Sales. Ustinov himself was champion of the KWPN Stallion grading and carries the famous Libero H and Nimmerdor blood. In sport just as in breeding the Keur stallion Ustinov has earned his spurs, partly thanks to DSHS-auctioned offspring such as VION Cup winner and international showjumper Bestinov (Andre Sakakini), Roosendaal Grand Prix winner Anatevka ( Niels Knape), the very promising Carvalno (Boy-Adrian Van Gelderen) and the international star Backstory (Leslie Burr-Howard). In 2014 half-brother Coco Rico, by Corland, (Axel van Colen) became champion of the seven-year-olds in Fontainbleau. Ustinov combined with Esperance’s strong dam-line, make this nicely-modelled six-year-old mare very interesting.
