Ready to follow in the footsteps of his Grand Prix parents
As a son of the Olympic stallion Emerald van ’t Ruytershof and the Grand Prix mare Teirra, who ranked among America’s leading horses under Laura Kraut and Alise Oken, Pinehurst combines exceptional performance genes. This six-year-old possesses every quality to follow in the footsteps of his outstanding parents, displaying remarkable talent and shows effortless ability.
Among his dam Teirra’s finest achievements are victories in the 1.60m Grand Prix at CSI4* Geesteren, the 1.55m class at CSI3* Wettenhall, and 1.50m wins at CSIO5* Gijón and CSI3*-W Wellington. This pedigree traces back to the renowned Oldenburg damline 107, which has also produced top-level performers such as Olympic stallion Romeo 88 (Harry Charles), Clown of Picobello Z (Abdel Saïd) and Check Picobello Z (Eric Lamaze). Sire Emerald van ’t Ruytershof was a cornerstone of the Dutch team under Harrie Smolders and continues to make his mark on modern breeding through offspring including Igor, Imerald van ’t Voorhof, Mandato van de Neerheide and Nikka van de Bisschop.
