Padisha - Information & Pedigree

Top-quality mare from the line of Olympic Romeo 88

This talented five-year-old shows she is capable of great things. This high-quality mare is not the largest, stands out with her potential, great reflexes and scopeyness every round she jumps. She made a big impression this spring in the young horse competition in Tubbergen, where she was purchased by Stal Hendrix. Padisha comes from the first crop of the BWP-approved Kannan son Qatar ter Saleghem, who is himself a grandson of the valuable Grand Prix mare Everlychin de la Pomme, making up an excellent pedigree. Padisha’s grandmother Uma is a half-sister of the international sport mare Pleasure by Picobello, with whom Andreas Knippling won the Grand Prix of Redefin in 2004. Pleasure by Picobello is well known in breeding as the dam of excellent jumpers such as Romeo 88 (by Contact van de Heffinck), with whom Harry Charles competed at the Olympic Games in Paris, Check Picobello Z (by Cardento) and Clown of Picobello Z (by Cardento). Via Quick Star, this line goes back to the valuable Grannus daughter Heidira. She is also the foundation of Alise Oken’s 1.60m jumper Teirra (by Tolano van ‘t Riethof).
