Born in Ireland, Kilcoltrim Blue is by the world-class sire Chacco Blue, who has produced numerous Grand Prix show jumpers. Chacco Kid (Eric Lamaze), Chaqui Z (Shane Sweetnam), Tailormade Chaloubet (Sören Pedersen) and VDL Groep Miss Untouchable (Leopold van Asten) are just a few examples of Chacco Blue offspring at the elite level. Last winter at the horse shows in Spain, Kilcoltrim Blue proved himself a remarkable jumper and, as a result, ended up in the Netherlands. Bred to Touchdown, his dam Kilcoltrim Cavimperius also produced the Grand Prix jumper A Touch Imperious, ridden by Harriet Nuttall. With her jumping talent and willingness, Kilcoltrim Blue possesses everything – like many other Chacco Blue offspring – to perform at a high level soon.
