Arkos - Information & Pedigree

Arkos is a son of the stallion Kojak who sired many international Grand Prix horses but who himself unfortunately had to retire prematurely from the sport, due to a permanent injury. Arkos himself shines though his good riding qualities and his tremendous willingness to work. On his dam’s side Arkos goes back to the Dutch Nikki-bloodline through the stallions Voltaire – Purioso – Joost and, though his great-great-grandmother Aniki (s. Kassander), is an immediate blood-relative to the mare Aniki who is also in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales 2010 collection. This dam-line is also known for the many international sport horses which it has produced including Peter Geerink’s Lajos and Elizabeth Freeman’s Sir Kannan.
