Hardy is a still fairly youthful son of the Olympic show jumping stallion Verdi from a dam line that has been very successful in the Dutch Sport Horse Sales on many occasions. Hardy is closely related to the successful DSHS jumper T Sellie, who did very well at the highest level with Joy Lammers, and to another auction horse W.Sellie, who was renamed Witch and is active in the international sport with Emily Ward. On top of that Hardy’s mother V.Sellie is a daughter of Christine McCrea’s success horse Vegas and produced the international top talent Erka, ridden by Joy Lammers. Due to his young age Hardy is still quite green, but he stands out with his very good riding qualities and excellent type. His extraordinary jumping manners, light-footedness and reflexes make Hardy very interesting.
