Great Expectation is a four-year-old son of Numero Uno who attracted the DSHS selection committee’s attention at the CSI Twente in Geesteren. As a result, this interesting gelding was purchased for the auction. Numero Uno is a proven son of the legendary Libero H and has already produced many top horses including Tyson (Leon Thijssen), Sterrehof’s Tamino (Marc Houtzager), Winchester HS (Frank Schuttert), Van Gogh (Marco Kutscher) and the talented Aminko (Bertram Allen). Dam Lenja van Steghoeve is a daughter of the proven stallion Germus R and has produced several international and national jumping horses. Great Expectation is nicely-built, is fantastic to ride and has a strong gallopade. Great Expectation lives up to his name!
